Since 2006, IRC has worked to create awareness about special needs, and build a support system for people with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families in areas such as diagnosis, access to education and parental involvement, ensuring a happy and dignified life.
IRC is a charitable trust, based in Bangalore, promoted by Sri Sharada Peetam, Sringeri with support from Rotary Bangalore West. IRC is registered with National Trust for the welfare of persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities, Rehabilitation Council of India and Government of Karnataka under Persons with Disabilities Act.
