Dr. Surekha Ramachandran’s brainchild, DSFI has been a constant source of support and encouragement for people who are unable to come to terms with Down syndrome. DSFI has been working for the cause of all those who are affected by Down syndrome – whether it is individuals with Down syndrome, parents or siblings. Among the services offered include counseling distraught families, training children to overcome their shortcomings, providing physiotherapy, and speech therapy, and spreading awareness about Down syndrome.

If a child can’t learn the way we teach, it’s time for us to change the way we teach.
